Totorobaga was a blog that David maintained for the two years that he spent living in Japan. The project is built as a running photoessay that combines photography and written word to convey the beauty of Japan and Japanese culture.
Following the format of Totorobaga, Itemiyo is a project that spans out of Japan and into China, Tibet, South Korea, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.
